Long-term results of acetabular reconstruction using ganz acetabular rings
Journal of Arthroplasty Jul 12, 2018
Beckmann NA, et al. - Researchers evaluated the long-term results of acetabular reconstruction using the Ganz reinforcement ring (GRR) in total hip arthroplasty (THA). The average age of the patients included was 65 years (range 26-90). Acceptable survival and functional results were seen in this long-term study using the GRR in older patients, while young patients had less favorable survival. They noted median Harris Hip scores (HHS) and WOMAC scores to be 77 and 64.5 respectively and at final follow-up, the mean NRS pain score was 1.6.
