Long-term radiographic appearance of calcium-phosphate synthetic bone grafts after surgical treatment of tibial plateau fractures

Hanke A, et al. - Researchers here investigated the long-term resorption of two different calcium phosphate products (A = ChronOS inject and B = Norian SRS; both De Puy, Synthes, Oberdorf, Switzerland) used in the surgical treatment of tibial plateau fractures. In comparison to Synthetic bone graft (SBG) B, the composite SBG A revealed a comprehensive long-term resorption. Nonetheless, both seemed to provide suitable mechanical support as part of the surgical treatment of tibial plateau fractures.
