Leptin induces odontogenic differentiation and angiogenesis in human dental pulp cells via activation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway
Journal of Endodontics Feb 11, 2018
Ngo VH, et al. - The experts sought to evaluate if leptin could promote odontogenic differentiation and angiogenesis in human dental pulp cells (hDPCs). They also assessed the involvement of the intracellular signaling pathway in these effects. In hDPCs, leptin could induce angiogenesis, odontogenic differentiation, and mineralization by activating the MAPK signaling pathway.
