Left-sided atrial septal pouch is a risk factor for cryptogenic stroke

Holda MK, et al. - The correlation between the presence of left-sided septal pouch (LSSP) and cryptogenic stroke using transesophageal echocardiography was determined.LSSP was present in 55.6% of patients with cryptogenic stroke and in 40.9% of those without stroke.
