Chen K, et al. - A systematic review and meta-analysis is designed to expand the understanding regarding the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic pancreatic surgery (LPS) for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). As per findings, LPS can be performed safely for pancreatic duct adenocarcinoma. LPS was beneficial in terms of less postoperative morbidity, less blood loss, and shorter hospital stay. Compared with open countpart, LPS has similar oncological outcomes.
