Dili A, et al. – The purpose of this study is to evaluate the role of laparoscopic ultrasound (LUS) as a substitute for intraoperative cholangiography (IOC) during cholecystectomy. During cholecystectomy, the researchers underscore the advantages and limitations of laparoscopic ultrasound and underline its value in difficult scenarios when the anatomy is obscured.
