Neuwirth MG, et al. - A systematic review and meta-analysis of contemporary studies were conducted to characterize treatment patterns and outcomes. For extremity soft tissue sarcoma (STS), isolated limb perfusion (ILP) and isolated limb infusion (ILI) could be safely performed with appreciable response rates and significant limb salvage rates. An additional study was required to identify optimal treatment regimens by histology.
