Winters BR, et al. - Herein, an examination of the role of adjuvant radiation in advanced penile cancer (PC) was carried out. A potential link existed between the determinants of adjuvant radiation (aXRT) delivery in stage III PC with the proximity to community cancer centers and greater nodal burden. A survival benefit was gained with the use of aXRT, particularly in those with a higher nodal stage. In order to confirm these findings and improve treatment algorithms for high-stage PC, advanced research was warranted.
