Is the diagnostic threshold for bulimia nervosa clinically meaningful?

Chapa DAN, et al. - Here, the authors examined whether community-recruited adults with current full-threshold or sub-threshold bulimia nervosa (BN) differed in comorbid psychopathology and eating disorder (ED) illness duration, symptom severity, and clinical impairment. No clinically significant differences were observed between sub- and full-threshold BN.
