Fineberg S, et al. - The topic of exploration herein was invasive mucinous carcinoma (IMC) of the breast and response patterns following neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). Based on the results, it was inferred that persistent mass forming low cellular or acellular mucin pools could lead to discordant clinical, imaging, and pathologic findings in IMC treated with NAC.
