Initial inferior vena cava diameter predicts massive transfusion requirements in blunt trauma patients: A retrospective cohort study

Takada H, et al. - This study was performed with the aim to evaluate the association between inferior vena cava (IVC) diameter and massive transfusion (MT) requirements in patients with blunt trauma. Findings revealed initial IVC diameter as a predictor of MT in these patients.
