Stewart RJ, et al. - In this paper, antiviral prescribing among high-risk outpatients for 5 influenza seasons was described. Researchers, in addition, determined factors that may influence prescribing. They recognized infrequent influenza antiviral medication prescriptions for high-risk outpatients with ARI who would benefit most from treatment. There appeared necessity for efforts to increase appropriate antiviral prescribing to reduce influenza-associated complications.
