Li Y, et al. - This research was formulated in order to comprehensively examine the correlation between polymyositis/dermatomyositis (PM/DM) and the risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE). Authors obtained strong evidence with regard to the finding that patients with inflammatory myositis presented with an increased risk of VTE.
