Kim B, et al. – Physicians designed this study to identify the risk factors for delayed intracranial hemorrhage and develop a risk stratification system for disposition of head trauma patients with negative initial brain imaging. The independent risk factors for delayed intracranial hemorrhage were old age, associated craniofacial fracture, any neck injury, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension.
