Cao B, et al. - Several studies have suggested that sleep-related breathing disorder (SRBD) is a frequent symptom of multiple system atrophy (MSA). Herein, researchers investigated the potential impact of SRBD on the motor and non-motor symptoms of MSA. Findings demonstrated that severe motor deficits, depression, frontal lobe dysfunction, and excessive daytime sleepiness were more likely to be seen in MSA individuals with SRBD.
