Impact of intentional overload on joint stability of internal implant-abutment connection system with different diameter

Lee JH, et al. – The prime focus of this research was to assess the axial displacement of the implant-abutment assembly of different implant diameter after static and cyclic loading of an overload condition. According to the findings obtained, implants with Ø 5.0 diameter showed significantly low axial displacement and reverse torque loss after the cyclic and static loading of an overload condition.
