Testori T, et al. - This long-term retrospective cohort study was performed to compare the clinical and radiographic outcomes between immediate loading (IL) and conventional loading of implants placed immediately in fresh extraction sockets. They found no negative effect of IL on the long-term prognosis of implants inserted into fresh extraction sockets.
