Hysteroscopic treatment and reproductive outcomes in cesarean scar pregnancy: Experience at a single institution
Fertility and Sterility Jul 29, 2021
Tang Q, et al. - Researchers conducted a retrospective study from 2013 to 2018 including a total of 439 patients with cesarean scar pregnancy who received hysteroscopic treatment in order to determine the risk factors resulting in type II/III cesarean scar pregnancy and examine the efficacy of hysteroscopic treatment and subsequent reproductive outcomes. The rates of multiple parity, cesarean deliveries, and dilation and curettage procedures after the last CS were the significant variables linked with the type of cesarean scar pregnancy. Outcomes support the safety as well as effectiveness of hysteroscopic therapy with a low risk of subsequent ectopic pregnancy.
