Hypothesized summative anal physiology score correlates but poorly predicts incontinence severity

Young CJ, et al. – Aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between such a construct and an existing continence score. The authors indicate that when considered collectively, the ability of anal physiology (AP) tests to predict continence scores improve, but that a constructed summation model before and after multiple regression is poor at predicting the variability in continence scores.
