Kim HS, et al. - Researchers sought to perform a comparison of the complete resection rate of hot snare polypectomy (HSP) with that of endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) for small, sessile, or flat polyps. they observed that for small non-pedunculated colorectal polyps, EMR for small non-pedunculated colorectal polyps was not superior to HSP in terms of complete resection or safety. In accordance to the endoscopist’s preference, both methods could be performed.
