The Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Aug 15, 2017

Cannon JW, et al. – This work was designed to assess the effect of a high ratio plasma (PLAS) to packed red blood cells (PRBC) resuscitation strategy in massively transfused pediatric patients with combat injuries. Authors recommend performing further prospective studies to determine the optimal resuscitation strategy in critically injured pediatric patients.
