Iwamoto E, et al. – The changes in conduit and resistance artery function subsequent to an acute bout of exercise, with different intensities, were investigated in healthy older adults. In these subjects, an acutely enhanced conduit artery function was obvious consequent to high–intensity exercise. Additionally, an acute bout of exercise enhanced resistance artery function independent of intensity.
