Functional assessments of foot strength: A comparative and repeatability study

Bruening DA, Ridge ST, Jacobs JL, et al. - In this comparative and repeatability study, 40 healthy participants were assessed over two testing days, with a two-week doming motion exercise space between them in order to evaluate the various functional foot strength evaluation techniques. In this study, a possible methodology for foot strength testing was further refined. Moreover, in the clinic, these devices and protocols could be duplicated to assess and monitor rehabilitation advancement in clinical communities correlated with foot muscle weakness.
