First evaluation of the Behavioral Addiction Indoor Tanning Screener (BAITS) in a nationwide representative sample

British Journal of Dermatology Aug 17, 2017

Diehl K, et al. – This research resolved to inspect the validity and reliability of the Behavioral Addiction Indoor Tanning Screener (BAITS) by using a multi–method approach. In comparison to other short instruments estimating the symptoms of a potential indoor tanning (IT) addiction, the BAITS appeared to be a valid and reliable instrument. Owing to its short lengths and the binary items the BAITS was easy to use in large surveys.
