Wang Y, et al. – This study aims to investigate differences in having a preventable emergency department (ED) visits between noncitizens, naturalized and US–born citizens in the United States. The physicians document the existing differences in preventable ED visits across immigration status and underscore the necessity to examine unmet health needs among immigrants and eliminate disparities.
