Feasibility and acceptability of Internet-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy for chronic pain in adolescents with sickle cell disease and their parents

Palermo TM, et al. - An examination was conducted regarding the feasibility and acceptability of an internet-delivered cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) intervention in adolescents with sickle cell disease (SCD) and their parents randomized to internet CBT or internet pain education. The results showed that internet-delivered CBT was feasible and acceptable to adolescents with SCD and their parents for SCD pain. There was good engagement and adherence.
