Yorifuji M, et al. - In patients on maintenance hemodialysis (MHD), the associated factors of serum magnesium, as well as the link between low serum magnesium and arteriosclerosis, was assessed in this study. Association of serum magnesium level with the serum levels of calcium and albumin was observed in this patient population. Moreover, an association of a low serum magnesium level with the index of vascular stiffness was also evident in these subjects.
