Ahmed AF, et al. - Authors assessed the association between haemodialysis (HD) duration and erectile function status and gonadal hormones serum levels in adult men with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). They defined and graded the erectile dysfunction (ED) according to the international index of erectile function (IIEF-5) score. Results demonstrated that there was no impact of HD duration on erectile function status and gonadal hormones serum levels. In this particular group of patients, other factors could be relevant to these conditions.
