Enhanced CD8+ cytolytic T cell responses in the peripheral circulation of patients with sarcoidosis and non-Löfgren's disease

Parasa VR, et al. - This study intended to gain knowledge regarding the phenotype and function of CD8+ cytolytic T cells (CTLs) in pulmonary sarcoidosis. Findings demonstrated that patients with sarcoidosis exhibited enhanced peripheral CD8+ CTL responses, especially non- Löfgren´s syndrome (LS) patients who had an increased risk of chronic disease.
