Zhao XY, et al. - Researchers, herein, assessed the effect of intravitreal injection of bevacizumab in vitrectomy for patients with proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR)-related retinal detachment. No decrease in the retinal redetachment rate or improvement in the visual acuity was noted with the intravitreal injection of bevacizumab in vitrectomy for these patients.
