Gundogdu EC, et al. - During this study, researchers studied the effects of intracanal, intraoral, and extraoral cryotherapy on the postoperative pain in molar teeth with symptomatic apical periodontitis. Data illustrated lower postoperative pain levels and lower VAS scores of pain on percussion in all the cryotherapy applications (intracanal, intraoral, and extraoral) when compared to those of the control group.
