Effects of two nonpharmacological treatments on the sleep quality of women with nocturia: A randomized controlled clinical trial

Furtado-Albanezi D, et al. - The effects of two non-pharmacologic treatments on sleep quality in women with nocturia were determined. Women with nocturia were subjected to tibial nerve stimulation (GTNS) or received pelvic floor muscle training associated with behavioral therapy (GPFMT). Both non-pharmacologic treatments (TNS or PFMT) were shown to have equal efficacy in improving quality of sleep of women with nocturia.
