Effects of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation on pain intensity during application of carboxytherapy in patients with cellulite: A randomized placebo-controlled trial

Sadala AY, et al. - The purpose of this trial was to investigate the upshot of transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation (TENS) on the pain intensity during carboxytherapy among patients with cellulite in the gluteal region. When compared to the placebo TENS and control groups, lower pain intensity was discovered among the active TENS group. Hence, this procedure was discovered to be effective in reducing the pain intensity during carboxytherapy.
