Effects of nonsurgical periodontal therapy in patients with moderately controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus and chronic periodontitis in Nepalese population

Goel K, et al. – This study determined the impacts of nonsurgical periodontal therapy in patients with moderately controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus and chronic periodontitis in Nepalese population. The findings from the present study suggested that nonsurgical periodontal therapy might have an advantageous impact on glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) level in moderately controlled type 2 diabetic patients.
