Yan J, et al. - Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were analyzed by the researchers for comparing the effectiveness of the flap surgery combined with a laser vs surgery alone for the treatment of the gingival recession. The results demonstrated that no additional benefit was provided by the flap graft associated with a laser to the coverage of the root and esthetics in treating gingival recession.
