Effect of vitamin D supplementation in chronic widespread pain: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Yong WC, et al. - Vitamin D supplementation was assessed as a management strategy for individuals with chronic non-specific widespread pain (CWP). The evidence demonstrated that although vitamin D supplementation did not bring about any significant change in visual analog scale (VAS) but this intervention was capable of decreasing pain scores and improving pain in subjects with CWP.
