Halterman JS, et al. - The upshot of the School-Based Telemedicine Enhanced Asthma Management (SB-TEAM) program comprehensively investigated on asthma morbidity among urban children with persistent asthma. A marked improvement was yielded in the symptoms due to this SB-TEAM intervention. It also reduced the health-care utilization among the study cohort. Researchers drew the conclusion that this program could serve as a model for sustainable asthma care among school-aged children.
