Lahtinen M, et al. - This study assessed cardiac mortality in association with changes in leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Findings demonstrated that in patients with stable CAD, LTPA had important prognostic value for cardiac death. Data also indicated that even minor changes in LTPA over 2 years were associated with the subsequent risk of cardiac death.
