Effect of Aggressive lipid-lowering treatment with Rosuvastatin on vascular endoTHelium function: Evaluation of vascular endothelium function (EARTH study)
Heart and Vessels Dec 08, 2017
Takayama T, et al. - Concerning the impact of rosuvastatin-induced aggressive lipid-lowering (LDL-C) on vascular endothelium function, it was demonstrated in this study, performed on patients with stable angina and dyslipidemia, that such a treatment resulted in significant improvement in the reactive hyperemia peripheral arterial tonometry (RH-PAT) index, this finding suggests that aggressive lowering of LDL-C with rosuvastatin may improve endothelial function in patients with coronary artery disease.
