Lubas A, et al. - This inquiry was set up to assess the impact of a chronic use of antihypertensive drugs on ultrasound parameters of renal cortical perfusion. Researchers observed a significant impact of the type of antihypertensive therapy on the ultrasound parameters of renal cortical perfusion. In addition, to assess the impact of drugs on renal cortical perfusion, noninvasive, ultrasonic dynamic tissue perfusion measurement method appeared to be an adequate tool.
