Kitamura S, et al. – The role of dynamin–related protein 1 (Drp1) in the tumorigenesis of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (SCCs), was comprehensively inspected in this trial. A vital function for Drp1 was brought to light in regulating tumor growth, mitochondrial morphology, and cell cycle in cutaneous SCC. This finding indicated that Drp1 could be a novel target for skin tumor therapies.
