Bogach J, et al. - A systematic review of the literature and meta-analysis was conducted to define the impact of biologic agents on resection for metastatic colorectal cancer. Researchers found an improvement in resection rate with the addition of biologic agents to systemic chemotherapy in patients with initially unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer. The optimal biologic agent for this outcome is yet to be determined.
