Nascimento GG, et al. - Experts attempted to inspect the correlation between poorly controlled diabetes with periodontitis onset or progression. It was illustrated that diabetes increased the risk of incidence or progression of periodontitis by 86%. Results brought to light the connection between diabetes with increased risk of periodontitis onset and progression in adults.
