Bozkurt G, et al. – This paper focused on the causes of misinterpretation in predicting the preepiglottic space by CT in laryngeal cancer. CT was a practical and inexpensive imaging tool for evaluating laryngeal carcinomas. However, the PPV of CT in assessing preepiglottic space invasion, especially in advanced tumors, was low and might lead to overtreatment.
