Ilowite MF, et al. – The impact of parental race/ethnicity on prognosis communication experiences among parents of children with cancer was appraised. Regardless of racial and ethnic background, most parents wanted detailed prognostic information about their child's cancer. It was reported that physicians underestimate the information needs of black and Hispanic parents.
