Seetharaman S, et al. – Authors planned this study to assess the impact of the 2011 American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommendations on youth HIV testing change practice. The release of 2011 AAP HIV testing guidelines seemed related to a moderate increase in HIV screening and a shift toward testing younger people and away from risk–based screening.
