Echouffo-Tcheugui JB, et al. - Whether or not outcomes after ischaemic stroke (IS) differ between patients with and without diabetes, was investigated in this study. Diabetes was shown to be related to increased risks of death, cardiovascular and non-cardiovascular hospitalizations, heart failure, and IS/transient ischaemic attack recurrence among older IS patients.
