Wang R, et al. - This paper aspired to identify the risk factors that exerted an impact on the in-hospital prognosis of patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). It also entailed the establishment of its prognostic discriminant model. 4 independent risk factors were brought to light: History of diabetes, uric acid, urea nitrogen and activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT). A prognostic model was generated to speculate the adverse outcomes of these patients.
