Determinants of decline of renal function in treated hypertensive patients: The Campania Salute Network

Mancusi C, et al. - The factors determining a decline in renal function were evaluated in patients treated for hypertension. Patients with a lower glomerular filtration rate, increased left ventricular mass, and suboptimal blood pressure control during follow-up had a decline in kidney function while on antihypertensive therapy.
