Dermatomyositis panniculitis: A clinico-pathologic and immunohistochemical study of 18 cases

Briz AS, et al. - The clinico-pathological and immunohistochemical findings in a series of 18 patients with panniculitis related to dermatomyositis were described by the researchers. In dermatomyositis, panniculitis was rare. Panniculitis dermatomysositis was seen to have histopathologic findings identical to those of lupus panniculitis. Hence, a clinic-pathologic correlation was required for the final diagnosis.
